The development of the Smart Oven Pizzaiolo spanned over 4 years - resulting in the first domestic countertop oven that can reach 450°C, cooking an authentic wood-fired pizza in just 2 minutes.
To launch the Pizzaiolo globally we approached this with a two-fold strategy: first, a pre-launch campaign introducing the Pizzaiolo's innovation story with videos and PR materials, and then a consumer launch focusing on its 2 minute baking time and smart automation compared to traditional pizza chefs (Pizzaiolos).
During the pre-launch, teaser videos and PR assets were shared with influencers and publishers. This created anticipation and interest before the official launch. When the product launched, it received significant PR exposure from top tech and lifestyle blogs such as Wired and Business Insider. In the US, Pizzailos sold out within the first week, demonstrating strong demand and a successful launch.
