As a pre-launch idea to bring Xinja Bank into the Australian market, we developed the "Can*t Free Banking" campaign, humorously addressing the frustrations Australians face with their current banks while presenting Xinja as a refreshing alternative, targeting millennials and anyone dissatisfied with their current bank.
The campaign utilised attention-grabbing, bite-sized content on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital media platforms, creatively highlighting relatable and humorous scenarios that capture the frustrations of banking experiences.
The success of the campaign was highlighted by the Xinja Bank app skyrocketing to the top 5 spot in Australia for finance apps. Additionally, the campaign generated media coverage across free-to-air TV and numerous publications, leading to Xinja becoming Australia’s fastest-growing neobank.
